Brittany Lashley was born and raised in New Jersey. She attended and graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Brittany always had a passion for painting and writing as a young girl and continued to perfect those skills throughout her life.

She is currently a fourth grade teacher. In her free time, Brittany writes blogs that inspire young girls and women from all over the world. She also hosts paint parties for adults and children in central New Jersey and surrounding areas.
